Hyundai unveiled the all-new BAYON compact SUV, European-spec TUCSON, and TUCSON N Line at the 2026 Paris Motor Show, alongside strategic brand initiatives including UEFA Champions League sponsorship and potential Waymo expansion.
Hyundai Motor Company introduced three new models at the 2026 Paris Motor Show, headlined by the world premiere of the all-new BAYON compact SUV. The European-specification TUCSON and TUCSON N Line were also showcased, alongside the all-electric STARIA Cargo light commercial vehicle. The event highlighted Hyundai’s strategic focus on Europe, featuring partnerships with the UEFA Champions League and discussions on expanding Waymo collaborations internationally. The company emphasized its long-term investment in the region, with nearly 80% of vehicles sold in Europe now locally produced.
The all-new BAYON is designed as a compact SUV with bold styling and advanced features, including Hyundai Digital Key 2, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and dual 12.3-inch curved displays. It offers class-leading head and shoulder room, 440 liters of luggage capacity, and rear passenger amenities such as heated seats and a reclining function. The model will initially launch with 1.0 T-GDI powertrains (90 PS and 115 PS) and later introduce a 1.6 HEV hybrid with 138 PS and 102 g/km CO2 emissions. The BAYON N Line adds sporty design elements like 18-inch wheels and high-gloss black cladding, inspired by Hyundai’s N performance models.
Hyundai also presented the all-new TUCSON for Europe, featuring a 17-inch infotainment display under the Pleos Connect system and increased dimensions for improved cabin space. The model offers best-in-class interior measurements, including 1,038 mm front headroom and 1,002 mm rear legroom, along with an 83-degree rear door opening angle for easier access. The TUCSON N Line variant enhances the SUV’s dynamic appeal with distinctive design cues. Since its 2004 debut, TUCSON has sold over 2 million units in Europe, with the fourth generation ranking as the top private C-SUV in 2025.
The Paris Motor Show debut underscored Hyundai’s ambition in Europe, with the BAYON and TUCSON models developed specifically for the region’s customers. The company highlighted its localization strategy, aiming to invest nearly €3 billion in Europe by 2030. Hyundai’s presence at the event also emphasized its commitment to innovation and customer-centric mobility, supported by strategic partnerships and a growing service network across the continent.
