Hyundai Motor Company announced a multi-year partnership with UEFA to become the Official Automotive Partner of the UEFA Champions League, beginning with the 2026/27 season and running through the 2030/31 season. Hyundai’s European operations are centered in Rüsselsheim, Germany, where its Technical and Design Centres develop vehicles for the region. Production occurs at plants in the Czech Republic and Türkiye, with vehicles sold in 42 European markets through over 2,000 outlets. In 2025, Hyundai sold 603,542 vehicles in Europe, holding a 4.2% market share across EU35 markets.

The IONIQ 3, Hyundai’s first battery-electric model in the compact segment, debuts as the flagship vehicle for the partnership. Designed and engineered in Europe, the IONIQ 3 features a drag coefficient of 0.263 Cd, up to 497 km of range (WLTP), and a 14.6-inch infotainment display. It is the first of five new models Hyundai will launch in Europe during the 2026/27 season, reflecting the company’s commitment to electrified mobility.
