L3Harris Demonstrates Multi-Domain Supremacy at Annual Project Convergence Exercise

At Fort Irwin, California, L3Harris Technologies showcased integrated communications and electronic warfare systems during the Army’s Project Convergence-Capstone 6 exercise. The company demonstrated how its technologies enable decision-makers to coordinate sensors and effectors across domains for faster threat interdiction in contested environments. Capabilities included assured communications, Link 16 integration on UH-60 Black Hawks, and the Deceptor™ modular electronic warfare payload, all designed for rapid deployment and resilience.

Christopher Aebli, President of Communications & Spectrum Dominance at L3Harris, highlighted the company’s open-system defense technologies, emphasizing their high-volume manufacturing and resilient supply chains. He noted that the demonstrated capabilities align with the U.S. government’s focus on software-defined and open-systems solutions, positioning L3Harris to meet future operational demands. The company also collaborated with ARX Robotics to integrate a counter-unmanned aerial system using L3Harris’ CORVUS-RAVEN.

L3Harris’ participation in Project Convergence-Capstone 6 follows its selection as a Next Generation Command and Control transport layer provider for the Army. The company previously validated its Wraith® waveform and WESCAM® MX®-Series electro-optical/infrared sensors during exercises such as Ivy Mass, Lightning Surge, and Operation Jailbreak, where they were deemed operationally effective.

The company’s technologies, including Link 16 tactical data links, Deceptor™ electronic warfare systems, and CORVUS-RAVEN counter-UAS solutions, are designed to enhance situational awareness and reduce fratricide risks.
