The launch expands Meta’s AI glasses portfolio, building on the success of Ray-Ban Meta and Oakley Meta models.

Meta Glasses are the first to launch with Meta AI powered by Muse Spark, an AI model from Meta Superintelligence Labs. This enhanced AI provides improved multimodal capabilities, delivering smarter responses for tasks like sports updates, restaurant recommendations, and daily scheduling. The glasses operate hands-free, integrating seamlessly into daily routines. Existing Ray-Ban Meta and Oakley Meta users in the US and Canada will also receive access to this updated AI.

The new Meta Glasses introduce features such as dynamic photo capture, which automatically selects and recommends the best frame from multiple shots while allowing user choice. Upcoming updates include pedestrian navigation for displayless glasses, offering turn-by-turn directions. Additionally, live translation support has been expanded to 14 new languages, including Japanese, Mandarin, Hindi, and Korean, enabling real-time multilingual conversations.

Meta Glasses are available starting today in select countries through Meta.com, Best Buy, Amazon, Lenscrafters, Sunglasses Hut, and other retailers.
