Notion 3.6 enables teams to consolidate multiple AI agents into a shared workspace, allowing agents to collaborate on workflows alongside human teammates. Agents can now be assigned tasks via shared boards, @-mentioned, and monitored in real time. The first External Agents include Claude and Cursor, facilitating full-process automation within Notion’s interface.

AI Meeting Notes now labels speakers based on active microphones, improving meeting summaries and follow-up assignments. Agents can create interactive HTML blocks directly in Notion, such as ROI calculators, quizzes, and org charts, making documents more dynamic and actionable for teams without requiring external tools.

Notion Agents now support additional file formats, including PPTX, XLSX, DOCX, and PDFs, enabling agents to read and generate polished documents like PowerPoint presentations or Excel models. Microsoft integrations with Outlook Mail and Calendar allow agents to triage emails, draft replies, and manage schedules, reducing manual coordination tasks for users.

The update expands Custom Agent connections to Mercury, Mixpanel, Miro, Box, and ClickHouse, alongside existing integrations like Figma and GitHub. New AI models, including Opus 4.8 and Grok 4.3, offer flexibility for speed, reasoning, or creativity, while enhanced audit logs provide security teams visibility into agent activity for compliance and troubleshooting.
