PlayStation and Insomniac Games unveiled the first look at the Marvel’s Wolverine Battle Yellow Limited Edition Bundle, which includes a PS5 Digital Edition console, a DualSense wireless controller, and a game code for Marvel’s Wolverine. The bundle’s design incorporates Wolverine’s exposed claw marks and a bold yellow finish, reflecting the character’s intensity. The matching DualSense controller features claw-inspired slashes, and both items will be available globally. The console’s design allows players to view the internal components, aligning with the character’s raw energy.
The limited-edition accessories also include console covers for PS5 and PS5 Pro models, available in two designs: the Battle Yellow edition and the Adamantium edition. The Adamantium covers feature a metallic finish and claw-slashed details, evoking Wolverine’s skeletal enhancements. These covers and a matching DualSense controller will be sold separately in limited quantities through local retailers. In Singapore, the Adamantium DualSense controller will be available exclusively through select retailers.
The Marvel’s Wolverine Limited Edition PS5 Console bundle and accessories will be available for pre-order starting August 19 at 10 AM local time, with the bundle and standalone items launching on September 15. The pre-order excludes the console covers, which will be available later. Pricing details are provided on PlayStation’s website. The bundle and accessories are produced in limited quantities, emphasizing exclusivity.
The designs were developed in collaboration with Jock, a Scottish graphic artist known for his work on Marvel’s Wolverine key art. Jock highlighted the challenge of merging traditional hand-drawn art with modern hardware, noting the console and accessories successfully captured Wolverine’s raw energy. PlayStation described Jock’s illustrations as perfectly personifying Wolverine’s kinetic and violent nature, aligning with the character’s primary interaction through his adamantium claws.
