PlayStation has announced the Ghost of Yōtei Complete Edition for PS5, launching on October 2 with a new narrative expansion titled Ghost of Yōtei: Echoes of Sekigahara, a single-player combat survival mode called Ghost of Yōtei: Most Wanted, and additional quality-of-life updates. The Complete Edition includes the original game, the Legends co-op experience, and all prior downloadable content, with the new modes arriving via patch on the same day. Pricing varies by region, ranging from SGD 89.90 for the disc version in Singapore to PHP 4,099 in the Philippines.
The narrative expansion, Echoes of Sekigahara, alternates between present-day exploration of a previously unseen valley and flashbacks to Atsu’s involvement in the Battle of Sekigahara. Players will encounter new enemies, heavy weapons, armor sets, and dyes. The combat survival mode, Most Wanted, introduces a roguelike structure where players accept bounties, earn perks, and unlock additional characters such as Oyuki and Nagato, each with distinct combat styles.
Owners of the original Ghost of Yōtei can upgrade to the Complete Edition via a digital-only upgrade priced from SGD 20.27 to THB 524, depending on region. Pre-orders placed by September 30 will unlock the Sakai Armor for Atsu on October 2, a cosmetic inspired by Jin’s family armor from Ghost of Tsushima. The Complete Edition also includes the Charm of Hokkyokusei and all prior deluxe content, with new tracks for Watanabe Mode and additional cosmetics for New Game+.
The update will introduce new features such as the Beauty of Yōtei mode, a screensaver-like environment viewer, a high-contrast accessibility option, and the ability to separate armor appearance from stats. A global patch (v.2.0) will be available on October 1, with Asia, Australia, and New Zealand receiving it on October 2. Online multiplayer requires PlayStation Plus, subject to a recurring subscription fee.
