Luma Island is coming to PS5

Luma Island, developed by Feel Free Games, will expand to PlayStation 5 after launching on PC in November 2024. The game has already attracted over 800,000 players on PC, where it blends farming, exploration, and social interaction. Players begin with a modest caravan and farm, choosing how to develop their space through building, decorating, and resource management. The open-ended design allows for relaxed or challenging play, with no stamina or inventory limits to restrict choices.

Exploration is a core feature, offering diverse environments such as forests, mountains, jungles, caves, and ancient temples filled with puzzles and secrets. Players can also visit Pirate Cove for themed minigames and challenges. The game supports solo play or cooperative sessions for up to four players online, with cross-platform play available across PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

Gameplay flexibility is emphasized through three difficulty modes: Cozy, Adventure, and Hero. Cozy Mode minimizes combat unless initiated by the player, while Adventure and Hero modes introduce greater challenges. The absence of stamina bars or inventory limits ensures players can focus on activities they prefer, whether farming, fishing, or exploring.

The PlayStation 5 version of Luma Island will be available to wishlist on the PlayStation Store starting today. The game’s arrival on PS5 follows its successful PC launch and reflects the developers’ commitment to expanding access across platforms.
