Hozy brings calm, tactile home restoration to PS5 on November 9
PlayStation announces Hozy, a cozy home restoration game for PS5 releasing November 9, emphasizing tactile, pressure-free renovation and immersive sound design.
Hozy invites players to restore and furnish virtual homes without timers, scores or stress, launching on PlayStation 5 on November 9. Each level presents a distinct space to tidy, renovate and decorate using curated furniture sets, ensuring a polished result reminiscent of interior design magazines. Players use tools like mops and crowbars, with every action—from mopping floors to arranging furniture—designed for tactile satisfaction and responsive interaction.
The game features dynamic music that adapts as players progress, with unique sounds for every surface and object. The DualSense controller enhances immersion through haptic feedback and adaptive triggers, simulating actions like mopping or prying floorboards, while its built-in speaker emits subtle instrument sounds for added realism.
After completing the nine-level storyline, players can revisit restored houses in Game+ mode, switching between day and night views and experimenting with new furniture sets to transform rooms. A Sandbox mode offers unlimited customization, allowing players to freely mix, duplicate and personalize every item in the game.
Hozy includes accessibility options such as 11 language supports, adjustable tool movement speeds, inverted camera controls and color display settings. Players can also enjoy the game on PlayStation Portal, with plans for seasonal events and downloadable content, both free and paid.
