Sega gameplay updates: Persona 4 Revival, Crazy Taxi: World Tour, Total War: Warhammer 40,000, and more
Sega announced six upcoming PlayStation titles, including Persona 4 Revival and Total War: Warhammer 40,000, with playable demos at Gamescom 2026. Crazy Taxi: World Tour and Sonic Pico Park also revealed new features and release windows.
Sega will showcase six titles at Gamescom 2026, including Persona 4 Revival, which returns to the rural town of Inaba. The remake features three playable sections—Channels—each highlighting different aspects of the adventure, such as dungeon exploration and combat. Players will experience the Midnight Channel phenomenon and confront Shadows, with the full release scheduled for February 18, 2027, on PlayStation 5.
Total War: Warhammer 40,000 marks the series’ debut on PlayStation with a Gamescom demo featuring three scenarios. Players command Space Marines, customizing armies and engaging in battles of escalating scale against the Orks. The demo introduces new systems like reinforcement drops and army customization, culminating in a large-scale tactical battle on a grim Imperial battlefield.
Crazy Taxi: World Tour introduces a Germany map with winding streets and new mechanics like Crazy Drift and Nitro Boost. The demo at Gamescom will feature extreme missions, while a closed multiplayer network test runs from September 11 to 13 for selected participants. The game is set for release next year on PlayStation 5, with applications for the test closing on August 31.
Stranger Than Heaven offers a hands-on look at three eras in Makoto Daito’s journey across Japan, from 1915 Kokura to 1943 Minami. The demo highlights RGG Studio’s world-building and an innovative combat system using shoulder buttons for independent control. The game launches on January 15, 2027, while Sonic Pico Park, a co-op puzzle game featuring Sonic characters, arrives later in 2026 with up to eight players and cross-platform support.
