Xbox Makes 6 Games Free to Play This Weekend
Xbox’s Free Play Days offers six free-to-play games this weekend, with two accessible to non-subscribers and four available to all Game Pass members through September 13.
Xbox is running a Free Play Days campaign from September 10 to September 13, allowing players to try six games at no cost. The event is part of a recurring initiative designed to let gamers sample titles without financial commitment. Participants can either subscribe to Game Pass or play select games without a membership, depending on the offering.
Game Pass members will have access to four games during the event: Borderlands 4, CarX Drift Racing Online, F1 25 2026 Edition, and Surviving Mars: Relaunched. These titles span multiple genres, ensuring a variety of experiences for players. The inclusion of these games aims to showcase different styles of gameplay within the campaign.
Non-subscribers are limited to two games: EA Sports Madden NFL 27, available through September 13, and a two-hour trial of Dustborn. This structure allows casual players to engage with select titles without purchasing a subscription or the full game. The trial period for Dustborn provides a brief but immersive introduction to the title.
Some games in the campaign will be available at discounted prices following the event, extending the opportunity to purchase beyond the free weekend. This discount applies to titles that players may have sampled during the Free Play Days, encouraging continued engagement after the promotional period concludes.
