Razer announced the Razer Prio, an ultra-mobile, foldable USB-C gaming controller engineered for iPhone and Android. The device features a unique twist-to-unlock folding design, ultra-accurate capacitive thumbsticks, and low-latency USB-C performance, enabling console-grade gaming sessions during daily downtime such as commutes or breaks. The controller is designed to fit in a pocket when folded, measuring approximately 107 mm × 67 mm × 23 mm and weighing 101 g, and opens into a full-sized controller capable of accommodating phones up to 7 inches in size.

The Razer Prio includes a complete controller layout with low-profile thumbsticks, a tactile 4-way D-pad, face buttons, bumpers, and triggers. Its capacitive analog thumbsticks use contactless sensing to reduce drift, ensuring precise and consistent performance even in motion. The controller connects directly to phones via USB-C without requiring pairing or additional battery charging, offering low-latency response and compatibility with most slim to medium phone cases.

The device supports both iPhone (iOS 18) and Android (Android 14 or later) for local play and streaming through platforms such as Xbox Cloud Gaming, Steam Link, PS Remote Play, and Razer PC Remote Play via the Razer Cortex Mobile and PC apps. A dedicated Razer Cortex Mobile button provides quick access to a game library, allowing users to stream PC titles to their mobile devices after linking Razer Cortex Mobile to Razer Cortex on PC.

Razer describes the Prio as turning life’s in-between moments into playtime by offering full-sized control in a pocket-sized form. The controller is positioned as the first in a new line of ultra-portable mobile gaming controllers, aiming to eliminate tradeoffs between portability and precision for gamers seeking on-the-go gaming solutions.
