The Reserve Bank of India has launched the 51st round of the quarterly Services and Infrastructure Outlook Survey (SIOS) for the reference period October to December 2026. The survey targets selected companies in India’s services and infrastructure sectors to assess current business conditions and gather qualitative expectations for Q3:2026-27 and the following two quarters. Indicators include demand, financial conditions, employment, and pricing, providing a forward-looking perspective for policymakers and industry stakeholders.
Survey responses will remain confidential, with findings published in summary form on the Reserve Bank’s official website. The results aim to inform monetary policy and sectoral assessments by capturing real-time business sentiment across key economic segments. Participation is voluntary, ensuring a broad representation of sectoral views without compromising respondent anonymity.
Genesis Management & Market Research Pvt. Ltd. has been appointed to conduct the survey for the October-December 2026 quarter on behalf of the Reserve Bank. The agency will directly approach selected companies, while other eligible firms in the services and infrastructure sectors are encouraged to participate independently by downloading the questionnaire from the Bank’s website.
Companies interested in contributing to the survey can access the questionnaire under the ‘Survey’ section on the Reserve Bank’s website. Completed forms must be e-mailed to the designated contact at the Bank’s Mumbai office, with instructions provided for authentication and submission. Participation is open to all qualifying firms, supporting a comprehensive assessment of sectoral trends.
