The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has initiated the November 2026 round of the Urban Consumer Confidence Survey (UCCS), a regular exercise to assess household perceptions. The survey targets qualitative feedback on key economic indicators such as general economic conditions, employment trends, price levels, household income, and spending patterns. Conducted periodically, the UCCS aims to capture evolving consumer sentiment that informs monetary policy decisions.

The survey will be carried out in 19 designated cities, including Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Delhi, Mumbai, and Kolkata, among others. These urban centers were selected to represent diverse economic conditions across India. The findings from this survey will provide critical insights for the RBI’s monetary policy formulation and assessment of economic outlook.

M/s Hansa Research Group Pvt. Ltd., Mumbai, has been appointed to conduct the survey on behalf of the RBI. The agency will directly approach selected households to collect responses through structured questionnaires. Participants not contacted directly can still contribute by submitting responses via the provided survey schedule.

Responses can be submitted by emailing the filled survey schedule to the designated RBI contact. Queries or clarifications regarding the survey may be directed to the Division of Household Surveys in Mumbai. Contact details include phone numbers and an email address for assistance, ensuring accessibility for all participants.
