Paralives' first major update slips to next year, but when it comes you can expect some pretty meaty improvements for all of its main features
Paralives' first major update, originally due by late 2026, has been delayed to next year as the developer refines core systems and expands features.
Paralives, a life simulation game in early access since May, has maintained steady progress with regular updates addressing both minor and major aspects of its systems-driven gameplay. The upcoming first major update aims to enhance the core experience by addressing foundational elements. The team plans to strengthen Live Mode systems, including relationship mechanics, emotional interactions, Community Centre bundles, and economic balance to reduce money accumulation ease.
The update will expand Live Mode with new skills, story cards, relationship labels, and additional jobs, alongside improvements to Build Mode focused on resolving build-breaking bugs. New furniture and items will be added, along with adjustments to item efficiency. Paramaker will also receive updates, including expanded hairstyle and clothing options, particularly baggy outfits, and broader sliders for fat and muscle representation.
The Paralives team emphasized that the outlined plans are not final, with some features subject to delay or addition as development progresses. The update, initially scheduled for the end of 2026, has been postponed to next year to allow the team additional time for refinement and implementation.
Details about the update are available on the game's Steam page, where players can follow development progress and community discussions.
