Salesforce’s Agentforce Coworker Usage Soars 21x in Three Months as Enterprises Delegate Real Work to AI
Salesforce reports a 21x surge in Agentforce Coworker usage over three months as enterprises integrate AI into workflows, with new features expanding access across Microsoft Teams, mobile, and desktop.
Salesforce announced a major expansion of Agentforce Coworker, its AI teammate designed to delegate business tasks within trusted Salesforce environments. The platform now supports reusable Skills for standardized workflows, Conversation History to resume tasks across devices, and scheduled tasks for recurring work starting in December. Pricing is set at $50 per user per month, offering predictable costs for enterprise adoption. The update emphasizes seamless integration with existing Salesforce data, metadata, and governance frameworks to ensure security and compliance.
Coworker leverages Salesforce’s Data 360 and existing customer records to coordinate Agentforce agents and workflows, enabling employees to complete multi-step assignments without switching applications. New connections to Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 pair external communications with CRM data, providing a holistic view of customer interactions. Mobile apps for iOS, Mac, and Windows extend functionality beyond desktop environments, allowing users to delegate and track tasks from any device.
Fulton Bank reported deploying over 20 production use cases for approximately 3,000 users within weeks, highlighting rapid adoption and practical applications. The bank’s teams use Coworker to streamline information retrieval, preparation, and task execution, demonstrating measurable efficiency gains. Brandon Bernard, Senior Vice President/Sales Technology Strategist at Fulton Bank, emphasized the platform’s impact on daily workflows and team productivity.
The expansion includes deeper integration with Microsoft Teams, enabling users to delegate tasks directly within chat conversations while maintaining Salesforce context and permissions. Coworker’s design prioritizes practicality by aligning with existing business processes, reducing the need for separate AI implementations. James Nakashima, SVP of Product Management at Salesforce, framed the update as a shift toward simplifying AI adoption for enterprise users through a single, context-aware coworker.
