Salesforce Expands Agentforce With a New Portfolio of AI Agents Built for High-Value Work
Salesforce launches job-ready AI agents for sales, service, commerce, and workforce tasks, enabling goal-driven, multi-step work with continuous learning and collaboration.
Salesforce introduced a new portfolio of AI agents designed to handle high-value tasks across sales, service, commerce, employee experience, and back-office operations. These agents are pre-built for specific jobs, connected to Customer 360, and can be customized to align with existing business processes and brand identity. Each agent includes required skills, actions, and data models, allowing companies to deploy them quickly without starting from scratch.
The agents operate within a company’s security, permissions, and business rules, using Agent Script—an open-source language—to blend AI reasoning with deterministic controls. This ensures agents make decisions and take actions according to predefined guidelines while adapting to real-time changes. The framework supports granular oversight, enabling companies to balance autonomy with human approval where necessary.
A key innovation is the long-horizon runtime for Agentforce, allowing agents to pursue goals over days or weeks rather than completing single interactions. For example, an agent named Hunter can work toward rescuing at-risk deals by planning tasks, incorporating new information, and adjusting strategies while keeping sellers informed and in control throughout the process.
Salesforce also introduced Agentforce Coworker, an agent designed to assist employees across their workflows by leveraging business context. The platform’s new capabilities enable companies to teach agents company-specific workflows, coordinate complex tasks among multiple agents, and continuously improve performance over time, offering a scalable way to integrate AI into core business functions.
