Siemens and Salesforce Deepen AI Partnership to Redefine Industrial Sales and Service
Siemens and Salesforce integrate Agentforce with Teamcenter SLM to embed engineering-grade answers directly into industrial sales, service, and customer workflows, accelerating decision-making and revenue growth.
Siemens’ Teamcenter will integrate with Salesforce’s Agentforce to deliver engineering-grade answers within sales, service, and customer workflows. This collaboration aims to convert inbound interest into productive sales conversations for Siemens’ 18,000 sellers, driving revenue growth. The partnership embeds Siemens’ digital twin into commercial workflows, enabling service technicians to identify spare parts by serial number and sales teams to generate technically valid quotes without engineering delays.
Siemens deployed Agentforce to modernize inbound sales development, handling over 2,500 unqualified leads monthly. Two AI agents—an engagement agent and a qualification agent—work in tandem within Sales Cloud to assess and route leads. The engagement agent personalizes outreach using CRM data, while the qualification agent validates leads and transfers qualified opportunities to sellers, improving conversion efficiency across 132 countries.
The integration targets Siemens’ partner ecosystem, where prospective distributors previously faced delays after submitting intake forms. Piper, an AI SDR agent, will now generate personalized pitches and book qualified partners directly with partner account managers. Slackbot will orchestrate onboarding tasks such as certification, financial, and risk checks, while Agentforce Operations automates final steps in SAP, reducing onboarding time from weeks to days.
Siemens and Salesforce describe this as a blueprint for industrial AI, combining Siemens’ industrial AI with Salesforce’s enterprise AI to create an operating system that connects engineering, operations, and business. The collaboration aims to shift manufacturers from transactional sales to predictive, performance-based service models, unlocking faster service, reliable quoting, and growth in aftermarket revenue.
