Galaxy Watch9 is designed for all-day wear with a slimmer profile and a 390 mAh battery, offering 20% more capacity than the previous generation. It comes in 40- and 44-millimeter sizes and includes features like the FDA-authorized Sleep Apnea detection, Heart Health Score, and Fitness Index. The device uses AI to analyze breathing disruptions during sleep and provides personalized health insights based on heart rate, respiratory rate, and other metrics.

The updated Samsung Health app consolidates health data into five pillars: Activity, Mindfulness, Nutrition, Sleep, and Vitals. It introduces Daily Cardio Load to help users balance training intensity and recovery. Both watches will be available later in 2026, with additional features requiring separate app downloads.
