Introducing Samsung Galaxy Card
Samsung launched its first credit card, the Samsung Galaxy Card, in the U.S. on July 22, offering cash rewards on purchases including Galaxy devices and integration with Samsung Wallet.
Samsung Electronics America introduced the Samsung Galaxy Card, marking the company’s entry into the credit card market. The card, available from July 22, 2026, provides cash rewards on eligible purchases, with higher rewards for transactions made directly with Samsung, including preorders of new Galaxy devices. It is issued by Barclays US Consumer Bank on the Visa network, expanding Samsung’s ecosystem of connected services. The card is designed to integrate with Samsung Wallet and is protected by Samsung Knox security features.
The Samsung Galaxy Card offers 5% cash rewards on purchases made through Samsung, including device preorders, and 20% off Samsung VIP Advantage memberships. Users can also earn 5% cash rewards when purchasing or renewing a VIP Advantage membership. The card is available as a virtual card or a premium metal physical card featuring a black Samsung logo. Applications open on July 22, 2026, and can be submitted online or in Samsung retail stores across the U.S.
Cardholders receive an additional $200 in bonus cash rewards after spending $2,000 within the first 90 days of account opening. This incentive aims to encourage new users to activate and use the card for everyday purchases. The rewards and benefits are structured to provide value beyond device purchases, aligning with Samsung’s broader ecosystem strategy.
Woncheol Chai, EVP and Head of the Digital Wallet Team at Samsung Electronics, stated that the card simplifies users’ financial lives while offering tangible rewards. The Samsung Galaxy Card is positioned as a tool to enhance daily activities, from shopping to device upgrades, with security and integration as core features.
