London, a city of rich heritage and innovation, set the stage for Galaxy Unpacked July 2026, as Samsung Electronics unveiled its latest foldables — Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, Galaxy Z Fold8, and Galaxy Z Flip8.

Samsung Newsroom tested the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, Z Fold8, and Z Flip8 in London, demonstrating their camera features across landscapes, video, and selfies. The Z Fold8 Ultra includes a 200MP main camera with enhanced HDR and a 50MP Ultra-Wide camera, while the Z Fold8 offers Dual Recording and Super Steady for stable footage. The Z Flip8 features AI-powered ProVisual Engine and improved AI Bokeh for portraits. The devices were unveiled at Galaxy Unpacked July 2026, emphasizing AI integration for creative capture and editing.

The test began at Westminster, where the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra captured detailed images of Big Ben and the surrounding cityscape. The 200MP main camera delivered sharp focus, and the new HDR capability enhanced colors and fine details. The 50MP Ultra-Wide camera on the Z Fold series allowed for wide-angle shots of the London Eye, including the tower, ticket office, and nearby visitors, despite the landmark’s height.

At Tower Bridge, enhanced Nightography improved low-light performance, preserving the illuminated bridge and river texture. Dual Recording, available on the Z Fold8, captured both the bridge in motion and the reactions of onlookers in a single split-screen video. The feature uses rear and front cameras simultaneously, with real-time previews on the main display for easy framing. The Z Fold8’s 7.6-inch main display also enables editing and sharing of content directly on the device.

The journey continued to St. James’s Park, where the Z Fold8’s Super Steady feature stabilized footage of a fast-moving pelican. The Super Steady with Horizontal Lock kept the video level even during sharp movements. The Z Flip8, with its Flex Mode and Camcorder Grip, offered hands-free shooting and comfortable recording on the move. The AI-powered ProVisual Engine and improved AI Bokeh enhanced portrait quality, while the Zoom Rocker provided precise control for smooth zooms.
