Reserved by Spotify: New Ways to Get Ready for—and Relive—Your Show
Spotify expands Reserved to support fans from ticket access through post-show, adding share cards, setlist playlists, and a dedicated in-app hub for concert details.
Reserved by Spotify now offers two personalized share cards to mark key moments: one when users are selected for a ticket offer and another after purchasing tickets. Each card includes the artist’s name, show details, and Reserved branding, designed for sharing on social media or in group chats. The cards aim to highlight fan access and attendance, reinforcing community around live performances.
A new setlist playlist feature appears on the event page after ticket purchase, sourced from setlist.fm, to help fans prepare for the show. The playlist updates in real time after each performance to reflect the exact tracks played, allowing users to revisit the concert experience. This feature is available for participating artist tours as their show dates begin, including recent offers for artists such as ROLE MODEL, Miley, Skillet, and others.
Spotify introduces a centralized in-app destination for Reserved content, accessible via Home and Your Library, consolidating share cards, setlists, event details, venue information, and past performances. The hub serves as a single reference point for users to track their concert journey from invitation through post-show reflection. It supports ongoing engagement with live music experiences.
Reserved requires no separate sign-up; eligible Premium subscribers receive offers via email, push notification, and the “Your Updates” section. Users must enable notifications for live concerts and events and adjust location settings to receive offers. Ticket purchases link Spotify and Ticketmaster accounts, with up to two tickets held during the purchase window, subject to availability.
