Sui Basecamp 2026, held in Singapore on October 7–8, will convene developers, investors, and industry leaders to explore the rise of the agentic economy, where autonomous agents handle transactions at machine speed. The event will feature product launches, technical deep dives, and live demonstrations of Sui’s infrastructure designed to support instant settlement, ownership verification, and privacy-preserving transactions. Topics will include programmable tunnels for AI agents and real-world use cases in payments, gaming, and chat applications. The conference aims to unite stakeholders across the financial stack to address shared challenges in onchain finance. The event is sponsored by AlphaFi, EVE Frontier, Walrus, ONE Championship, Slush, RedotPay, Scallop, Anyflo, Merkle Science, and Sentio at varying levels.

On October 7, Mysten Labs Co-Founder and Chief Cryptographer Kostas Chalkias will attempt to surpass Sui’s existing transaction-per-second (TPS) record of 6,086,766, set on July 4, 2025. Participants worldwide can submit TPS predictions to compete for rewards of 10,000 SUI, 5,000 SUI, and 1,000 SUI for first, second, and third place, respectively. The test will simulate conditions expected in an agent-driven economy, with transactions processed across games, payments, and chat interfaces. CertiK, a web3 security firm, will independently audit the attempt, providing a cryptographic transcript for post-test verification and formal reconfirmation.

The AI Builder Lab will offer hands-on sessions with AI tools and workshops led by teams integrating AI with Sui, covering the development of AI-powered applications and autonomous agents. Attendees can also participate in the Trading Arena, where live traders compete using Hudi, with real-time visibility into their strategies. The event emphasizes active engagement, combining presentations with interactive programming, workshops, and expo areas to foster collaboration among builders, investors, and traders.

Sui Basecamp 2026 is positioned as a critical gathering for those shaping the next phase of economic activity, where transactions shift from human-driven to agent-driven processes. Adeniyi Abiodun, Co-Founder and Chief Product Officer of Mysten Labs, emphasized that this transition requires verifiable intent, authorization, and settlement onchain. The conference will bring together stakeholders from protocols, wallets, payments, data infrastructure, AI systems, institutions, and applications to address the technical and economic challenges of an agentic future. Standard passes grant access to all sessions, workshops, and official events; discounted registration is available at luma.com/SuiBasecamp2026.
