Environment Agency stops waste operation at Wolverhampton site

The Environment Agency revoked the environmental permit of DS Environmental Services in Wolverhampton on 28 May 2026, with the decision taking effect on 30 June 2026. The permit had allowed the facility to handle hazardous waste, asbestos, batteries, and electronic waste. Since the revocation, the site has been prohibited from accepting any waste, following a history of non-compliance and unauthorised waste acceptance.
