Xbox will host Free Play Days from August 6 to August 14, allowing players to try select games at no cost. Sports Renovations will be available to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, Premium, and Essential members from August 6 to August 9. NBA 2K26 Standard Edition will be free for all Xbox members from August 7 to August 14, while Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands and Breakpoint will be accessible to all Xbox members from August 6 to August 10. Wax Heads will offer a two-hour timed trial during the event.

Sports Renovations, an Xbox Series X|S-optimized simulator, invites players to restore and redesign sports facilities. The game tasks players with reviving old gyms, courts, and pitches, adding personal touches to each space. Creativity is encouraged as players plan layouts and prove their designs’ potential to the city’s mayor. The relaxed, story-driven experience emphasizes patience and strategic planning.

Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands will feature a free update called Last Rites, introducing a new linear mission set in Bolivia. Players will hunt a cult leader, La Llorona, navigating hazardous swamps and dense forests with limited visibility. The update expands the game’s tense, open-world military shooter experience. Ghost Recon Breakpoint, also optimized for Xbox Series X|S, tasks players with infiltrating Auroa, a hostile archipelago where Skell Technology has turned against civilians.

NBA 2K26 Standard Edition will be free for all Xbox members from August 7 to August 14. The game offers multiple modes, including MyNBA, MyLEAGUE, MyCAREER, and competitive play. Wax Heads, a cozy-punk narrative sim, provides a two-hour trial where players work at a record store, matching customers with music.
