Kimi K3.1 Pro and Kimi K3.1 Pro Highspeed are available now in AI Gateway

Vercel’s AI Gateway has added Moonshot AI’s Kimi K3.1 Pro and its faster variant, Kimi K3.1 Pro Highspeed, to its catalog of supported models. The K3.1 Pro is the first release in Moonshot’s K3.1 series and introduces improvements across coding, 3D modeling, financial analysis, and agentic workflows while retaining a 1M-token context window and image input support.

The new models handle complex coding tasks, from small fixes to full project builds, including multi-step agent runs. They also generate front-end pages and interactive scenes with enhanced typography and animation compared to earlier Kimi versions. In financial analysis, K3.1 Pro can construct linked models with adjustable assumptions or draft research grounded in source documents.

Moonshot AI plans to release the model weights publicly by November 4, with additional provider support to follow. Users can access either model through AI Gateway’s APIs, including the AI SDK, Chat Completions, Responses, and Anthropic Messages endpoints, or via coding agents.

AI Gateway provides a unified interface for model calls, usage tracking, and cost management, along with features like custom reporting, Zero Data Retention, and routing rules. It applies provider pricing without markup or platform fees, including for Bring Your Own Key requests, and supports models like moonshotai/kimi-k3.1-pro and moonshotai/kimi-k3.1-pro-highspeed.
