ASUS announced a new server lineup featuring two series built on AMD’s 6th-generation EPYC 9006 processors, designed to handle enterprise workloads such as AI inference, virtualization, and cloud computing. The dual-socket RS700A/720A series targets high-density computing with up to 32 E3.S storage bays in a 2U chassis, while the single-socket RS500A/520A series offers a space-efficient solution under 800mm for mainstream workloads. Both series support PCIe 6.0 and advanced memory configurations, including 32 DIMM slots for ultrafast MRDIMM memory.

The company highlighted proprietary engineering improvements to enhance reliability and efficiency, including the DC-MHS modular architecture that separates system components for faster servicing and lower costs. ASUS also introduced Thermal Radar 3.0, an algorithm-driven fan control system that adjusts cooling dynamically to reduce energy use while maintaining performance under heavy loads. The patented DIMM.2 Innovation relocates M.2 storage to a cooler region, eliminating the need for additional heatsinks and improving scalability.

ASUS emphasized the tool-less design of the new servers, which streamlines maintenance and reduces downtime, contributing to lower total cost of ownership. The company stated these innovations collectively support sustained performance in volatile, high-load environments such as AI and high-performance computing (HPC). The servers are positioned to meet the demands of enterprise data centers requiring resilient, scalable infrastructure.
