The useful question is what changes for users, developers or buyers, and whether the announcement stays industry context or becomes something people can actually use.
Garmin announced the finalists for the 2026 Garmin Health Awards, recognizing six organizations for their digital health and wellness solutions built on Garmin’s product portfolio. The finalists were chosen from more than 130 nominations, with Jörn Watzke, Senior Director of Garmin Health Global Sales, highlighting the difficulty of narrowing the selection. The awards aim to honor innovation in personalized, data-driven care across diverse industries.
The finalists will present their solutions to two panels—one of experts and another of Summit attendees—during the Garmin Health Summit in Bangkok. Winners of the Expert’s Choice and People’s Choice awards will each receive Garmin smartwatches and fitness trackers valued at $10,000. The Summit, held from October 28 to 29, will include an invite-only media event, industry leader presentations, and networking opportunities alongside the awards program.
