Garmin Pilot’s new Daily Weather feature, previously web-only, is now available on Apple mobile devices, offering pilots up to six-day weather forecasts with hourly breakdowns. The feature displays conditions as VFR, MVFR, IFR, or LIFR using a visual timeline that can be adjusted to preview weather changes. Pilots can access this data in the Airports tab under the Weather section alongside METARs, TAFs, and MOS forecasts.

A new turbulence weather layer has been added to Garmin Pilot Web and mobile, allowing pilots to overlay forecasted turbulence on their flight plan maps. The turbulence data covers altitudes from the surface to 45,000 feet MSL in the U.S., with global coverage from 11,000 feet MSL to 45,000 feet MSL planned for release soon. This tool helps pilots identify and avoid areas of intense turbulence during flight planning.

Database Concierge users now have an updated user interface on iOS mobile devices to view navigation database status and available updates more easily. The new interface streamlines access to Database Concierge and includes an aircraft selector for pilots managing multiple aircraft, simplifying the process of checking and updating databases across fleets.
