Since August 2025, Sui has surpassed $1 trillion in stablecoin transfer volume, reinforcing its position as a full-stack infrastructure for a new global economy.

Remi Technology, a global interbank clearing and settlement provider, announced an integration with Sui to launch the first bank-issued, regulated stablecoin infrastructure on the blockchain. The system supports transfers of EUB and USB, MiCA-compliant e-money tokens issued by Bison Bank, available through partner banks across Europe, Asia, Latin America, the Middle East, and North America. This allows licensed financial institutions to move money across borders with speed, auditability, and compliance confidence through regulated banking relationships. Remi’s network is designed to integrate stablecoin-based clearing into existing bank workflows, not as an alternative system.

For Sui, the integration represents another milestone as a high-performance infrastructure layer for compliant global payments. Bison Bank and its partner banks can now use the same bank accounts for everyday transactions and stablecoin transfers on Sui, eliminating the need for offshore custodians or separate crypto rails. Sui’s object-centric model and programmable infrastructure provide the foundation for Remi’s compliance-native design, enabling real-time settlement at predictable costs with embedded end-to-end compliance.

Remi’s integration with Bison Bank, authorized and supervised by the European Central Bank, makes this the first bank-issued stablecoin structured with balance-sheet treatment and direct institutional backing on Sui. The EUB and USB tokens are fully regulated under MiCA, ensuring compliance with European standards. Sui’s architecture and performance are purpose-built for institutional cross-border payments, while Remi’s network meets MiCA, FATF, and Basel Committee requirements with embedded risk-control systems and the FATF Travel Rule.

Since August 2025, Sui has surpassed $1 trillion in stablecoin transfer volume, reinforcing its position as a full-stack infrastructure for a new global economy. Remi’s infrastructure adds a regulated, bank-grade clearing and settlement layer to Sui’s ecosystem, enabling institutions to move money across borders with institutional-grade compliance and performance. The integration underscores Sui’s mission to move money as freely as messages by scaling regulated bank partnerships.
