A new student hub at gemini.google.com/students provides tools such as study notebooks, interactive 3D visualizations, and deep research capabilities. Students can organize syllabi, track deadlines, and create custom study plans using their class materials. Study notebooks, launched in June, guide users through learning topics with diagnostic quizzes and progress dashboards, while upcoming updates will include graphs and images to enhance lessons.

Interactive visualizations in Gemini allow students to generate 3D simulations and tables to better understand complex topics, such as DNA structures or energy transfer in pendulums. The feature supports hands-on learning by enabling users to rotate, zoom, and explore visual representations of academic content. These tools are available in the student hub and will roll out to all Gemini app users today.

Gemini Live introduces deep research capabilities, enabling students to request comprehensive reports on topics and receive notifications when results are ready. Users can then discuss findings, ask follow-up questions, or refine details hands-free. The feature supports seamless transitions between typing and voice interaction, maintaining context throughout research sessions. Eligible students can access these tools alongside the free AI plan offers until the redemption deadline.
