Kraken has listed Avalon Labs’ AVL token for trading, enabling deposits via supported networks. The asset is the governance token for Avalon’s Bitcoin-focused on-chain financial ecosystem.
Kraken has added Avalon Labs’ AVL token to its trading platform, allowing users to deposit tokens through supported networks. Deposits made via unsupported networks will not be credited, and users are advised to verify network compatibility before transferring funds. The token is now available for spot trading on Kraken’s exchange. AVL serves as the governance token for Avalon Labs’ ecosystem, which integrates decentralized and traditional finance for Bitcoin-based financial products.
Avalon Labs is developing an on-chain financial ecosystem centered on Bitcoin, bridging decentralized finance with traditional financial services. The platform includes BTC-backed lending, the Bitcoin-backed stablecoin USDa, and yield-generating products. It operates across both CeDeFi and DeFi lending infrastructures, with AVL as its governance token. The total supply of AVL is capped at 1 billion tokens, with staking rewards in the form of sAVL granting governance voting power.
Staking AVL tokens generates sAVL, which provides holders with voting rights in Avalon’s governance system. AVL holders can also access benefits such as fee rebates and allocations to ecosystem incentives. The token’s utility is tied to Avalon’s broader financial infrastructure, which includes lending, stablecoin issuance, and yield products. Kraken’s listing of AVL expands trading options for users interested in Bitcoin-adjacent DeFi and CeDeFi assets.
