TMX is available for trading!
Kraken has listed TMX, the governance and utility token of TermMax, a decentralized fixed-rate borrowing and lending protocol. Deposits must use supported networks to avoid loss.
Kraken has added TMX to its trading platform, enabling users to deposit the token into their accounts. Deposits must be made via networks supported by Kraken; otherwise, funds may be irretrievably lost. The token serves as the utility and governance asset for TermMax, a decentralized protocol facilitating fixed-rate, fixed-term borrowing and lending.
TermMax operates using a custom range order automated market maker (AMM) that allows market makers, termed curators, to set target annual percentage rate (APR) ranges across isolated markets. This system aggregates orders so users can borrow, lend, or assume leveraged positions at rates fixed at the time of entry, rather than relying on variable market conditions.
TMX has a capped supply of 1,000,000,000 tokens and is issued as an ERC-20 token with LayerZero OFT cross-chain transfer capabilities. Holders of TMX can participate in governance decisions regarding protocol features and parameters. Additionally, TMX can be staked to receive sTMX, which the project states offers staking rewards and enhanced governance rights over market risk parameters and curator whitelisting.
