PWT is available for trading!
Kraken has added PWT, the token of Permacast’s decentralized media network, to its trading platform. Users can deposit tokens via supported networks only, as deposits on other networks will not be recoverable.
Kraken announced the addition of PWT to its trading platform, enabling users to deposit, withdraw, and trade the token. The exchange instructed users to deposit tokens only via networks supported by Kraken, warning that deposits made on unsupported networks would be lost. Kraken emphasized verifying network compatibility before initiating transfers to avoid irreversible losses.
PWT is the native token of Permacast, a decentralized podcast and media network operating on the Load Network. The platform allows creators to publish podcasts, music, and video content to permanent onchain storage, ensuring episodes remain accessible as originally published without reliance on centralized hosting services.
Permacast’s model operates on a pay-once, store-forever principle, where uploaded content is permanently archived and ownership is tracked onchain. This approach eliminates the risk of content removal or platform shutdowns, providing creators with long-term storage solutions for their media.
Kraken stated that it does not disclose asset listings in advance, including which tokens may be added in the future. All available tokens are listed on Kraken’s platform, and future additions will be announced via the Listings Roadmap and official social media channels. The exchange’s client engagement specialists will not provide details on potential future listings.
