Lenovo Introduces Its First Googlebook, Delivering Premium AI Experiences in a Sleek, Lightweight Design
Lenovo unveiled the Lenovo Googlebook 15, its first Googlebook, featuring a 15-inch OLED touchscreen, Intel Core Ultra 5 processors, and up to 12.5 hours of battery life, priced from $1,099.99.
Lenovo introduced the Lenovo Googlebook 15, marking its entry into the Googlebook category with a 15-inch device designed for professionals and creators. The laptop combines Google’s computing experiences with Lenovo’s engineering, featuring Intel Core Ultra 5 processors and up to 32GB of memory. It delivers up to 47 TOPS of performance while weighing under 3 lbs, positioning it as Lenovo’s lightest 15-inch device. Benny Zhang, Executive Director of Chromebooks at Lenovo, highlighted the collaboration with Google to expand accessible intelligent experiences.
The Lenovo Googlebook 15 includes a 2.8K OLED touchscreen with a 120Hz refresh rate and 100% DCI-P3 color coverage, alongside a quad-speaker system with Dolby Atmos. A haptic touchpad and support for pinch, zoom, and precision scrolling enhance navigation and immersion. The device offers up to 12.5 hours of battery life and is designed for durability, with a MIL-STD-810H certification for resilience against everyday wear.
Thoughtful design features include a Glowbar for battery status, an anti-fingerprint metal chassis, and integrated fingerprint and facial authentication for secure sign-in. A built-in camera shutter adds privacy, while Gemini Intelligence enables features like Magic Pointer for cursor control and Rambler for natural voice-to-text dictation.
The Lenovo Googlebook 15 will be available starting October 4, 2026, with a starting price of $1,099.99. It includes 12 months of Google AI Pro, 5 TB of cloud storage, and subscriptions to apps like Adobe Photoshop, Premiere, and CapCut. Lenovo also introduced the Lenovo AI Mouse to streamline AI interactions.
