Meta has expanded the availability of its personal AI agent Muse to Singapore, enabling users to connect it with popular local apps such as Gmail, Google Calendar, Instagram, Shopee, Grab, Singapore Airlines, Agoda, ShopBack, Klook, Trip.com, and Lazada. The integration allows Muse to assist with tasks like managing emails, coordinating schedules, comparing prices, planning grocery shopping, booking travel, and earning cashback rewards. Connector features will roll out gradually, with some experiences becoming available after the initial launch. Users can interact with Muse via iOS, Android, or the web at muse.ai, with AI glasses support planned for the future.

Muse operates on a dedicated cloud-based system called Muse Secure VM, which stores user data and credentials separately from the agent to enhance security. The system ensures passwords and payment methods remain hidden from the agent, while requiring user confirmation for sensitive actions like sending emails or making purchases. Users retain full control over which services Muse can access and what actions it can perform. Meta emphasizes that safety and user control were central to the design and engineering of the platform.

Nicole Tan, Managing Director of Meta Singapore, stated that Muse is designed to simplify everyday tasks by connecting with services users already rely on. The launch includes partnerships with major brands in Singapore and the broader region to streamline shopping, travel, and daily activities. The agent is free for most basic functions, with optional subscription plans available for users seeking additional capabilities.

Muse is currently available in Singapore on iOS, Android, and the web platform muse.ai, with support for AI glasses expected in the future. The service is free for core functionalities, while premium features are accessible through subscription plans. Meta highlights that the agent’s ability to integrate with local services aims to make daily tasks more efficient and convenient for users.
