Darktrace Among First Cybersecurity Companies Selected to Integrate Risk Signals into Microsoft Agent 365
Darktrace confirmed no compromise after LockBit’s claims of breaching its systems, while announcing integration with Microsoft Agent 365 to provide behavioral risk signals for AI agents.
Darktrace stated it completed a security review following LockBit’s tweets alleging an internal compromise, finding no evidence of a breach. The company confirmed its services remain fully operational and customer data is protected. LockBit’s claims were not substantiated by any linked compromised data, and investigations continue with heightened monitoring. No further action was deemed necessary by Darktrace’s security teams.
Darktrace announced it is among the first cybersecurity firms selected by Microsoft to supply organization-specific behavioral risk signals to Microsoft Agent 365. The integration will use Darktrace / SECURE AI™ to derive risk signals from each customer’s Unique Behavioral Profile. These signals will appear directly within Agent 365, helping organizations assess agent permissions and detect deviations from normal behavior. The goal is to provide visibility into how AI agents operate within business workflows.
Microsoft Agent 365 centralizes management and security for AI agents across enterprise applications, offering a unified interface for monitoring agent identities and permissions. Darktrace’s contribution will add behavior-based risk signals that reflect how each organization’s agents normally function. Customers can view these signals alongside Microsoft’s own risk data in a single dashboard. The integration aims to bridge the gap between agent permissions and actual behavior.
