Artemis III is designed to execute a series of objectives in low Earth orbit to validate systems required for future lunar landings, beginning with Artemis IV. The mission will build on previous Artemis flights by demonstrating capabilities essential for crewed lunar surface missions. Engineers and controllers used the simulation to refine operational protocols and identify potential issues before the actual launch window.
