NMC announces Kicks ROCK CREEK for the Japanese Market

Nissan Motorsport & Customizing Co., Ltd. (NMC) announced the Kicks ROCK CREEK, a custom version of the Nissan Kicks, will be sold nationwide in Japan starting December 23. The model is designed with outdoor-inspired styling, featuring water-repellent seat material and a predominantly black exterior with silver and Lava Red accents. The Kicks ROCK CREEK is offered in both 4WD (e‑4ORCE) and 2WD configurations, targeting buyers seeking a rugged aesthetic while maintaining practicality. The announcement follows the successful introduction of the X‑Trail ROCK CREEK, signaling Nissan’s expansion of its custom off-road-inspired lineup.

The exterior design includes a ROCK CREEK-exclusive front grille with three-slot silver accents, a front protector with Lava Red details, and unique aluminum-alloy wheels. Inside, the cabin maintains the black theme with Lava Red accents on seats, door trim, the instrument panel, and steering wheel. Water-repellent seat material is included to enhance durability for outdoor activities. The model’s visual identity aligns with the ROCK CREEK series’ rugged, adventure-focused appeal while retaining the Kicks’ compact SUV proportions.

NMC is offering Utility Spec grades with additional features such as the NissanConnect Infotainment System [Simple], a power driver’s seat, remote-controlled automatic back door, and black roof rails. Advanced safety technologies are also included, including the Intelligent Around View Monitor with Moving Object Detection and 3D View, as well as the Intelligent Rear View Mirror. These features aim to balance comfort, convenience, and safety for daily and recreational use.

The Kicks ROCK CREEK will be available exclusively through Nissan dealerships in Japan. Pricing details were not disclosed in the announcement. The model represents Nissan’s effort to cater to customers seeking a stylish yet functional vehicle with outdoor-oriented features, building on the success of the X‑Trail ROCK CREEK.
