NVIDIA AI Day Singapore, held September 22–23 at Raffles City Convention Centre, featured hands-on training and expert sessions focused on accelerating AI and high-performance computing adoption. The event showcased how NVIDIA and regional partners are advancing AI technologies tailored to Southeast Asia’s languages, industries, and public-sector needs. Organizers emphasized moving from pilot projects to production-scale deployments to deliver measurable impact across the region.

Singapore’s HTX is testing NVIDIA Nemotron 3 Super and Nemotron 3 Nano Omni models to enhance public safety through secure, locally controlled AI systems. The models support complex reasoning and multimodal applications grounded in real-world operational data. NCS is deploying Nemotron models and NVIDIA Blueprint for video search and summarization to advance agentic AI and humanoid robotics in enterprise and government settings.

ST Engineering is using NVIDIA NeMo tools and cuOpt software to develop AI Studio and deploy agentic AI solutions across its Marine MRO business. Beyond Singapore, YTL AI Labs in Malaysia and Viettel AI in Vietnam are fine-tuning Nemotron models for enterprise and citizen services, including Vietnamese-language applications.

In Thailand, the Big Data Institute and iApp Technology are adapting Nemotron 3 Nano to create a Thai-language legal-assistant chatbot, Thanoy, which serves approximately 43,000 users. The model, fine-tuned with OpenThai 2.0 Legal data, is released as open source for the Thai developer community.
