PlayStation announced Aloft and Conan Exiles Enhanced will launch on PS5 in early 2027, with Aloft including all PC Early Access updates and Conan Exiles Enhanced offering free upgrades for existing owners.
PlayStation has announced that Aloft, a cozy co-op sandbox survival game set in the clouds, will make its console debut on PS5 in early 2027. Developed by Astrolabe over six years, the PS5 version will include all updates from the game’s Early Access period on PC, delivering the complete 1.0 experience. Players can explore floating islands, build homes among the clouds, and enjoy new content such as wildlife, puzzles, and expanded exploration. The game supports solo and multiplayer modes, with features like glider customization and ecosystem restoration.
Astrolabe highlighted the community’s role in shaping Aloft, calling the PS5 launch a new chapter for the passion project. The studio expressed excitement about sharing the full vision of Aloft with console players, emphasizing the game’s colorful open world and collaborative gameplay. All Early Access updates, including combat improvements and hurricanes, will be included in the PS5 release. The team also noted the milestone as a significant step for the game’s future.
Conan Exiles Enhanced is confirmed for PS5 in early 2027, with existing PlayStation owners receiving the Enhanced version for free. Players can purchase either the PS4 or PS5 version and receive the other for free, ensuring compatibility with purchased Bazaar items and DLC. The Enhanced edition introduces improved environments, lighting, and effects, alongside a redesigned UI and performance upgrades. Quality-of-life improvements aim to make exploration in the Exiled Lands and Isle of Siptah more seamless.
The Legacy of the Giant-Kings story arc will be included at launch in Conan Exiles Enhanced, offering console players a new narrative experience. This major story expansion allows players to explore the mysteries of the Giant-Kings, uncover their forgotten legacy, and face new challenges. Isle of Siptah remains a separate purchase.
