Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 and Warzone Season 06 launches The Haunting September 17

The Haunting update arrives September 17 for Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 and Warzone, introducing new maps such as Bloodstead, Hordepoint, and Haunted Hollow, alongside modes like Doom and T.E.D.D. Trials. Operators will explore Avalon’s eerie landscape and a Guild quantum computing facility in the Arctic, where a new creature awaits liberation in the Forbidden Summoning Event. The update also includes a forsaken Homestead where water has turned to blood, adding a supernatural threat to gameplay.

A new 6v6 T.E.D.D. Trials playlist integrates three iconic Zombies maps—Roadkill, Inferno, and Lost—into Multiplayer for the first time. In this mode, teams compete while wielding Ray Guns against a rotating set of five T.E.D.D. Trials. Additionally, a Hardpoint variant features zombies that attack both teams when the objective is neutral, but join the controlling team when it is secured, altering match dynamics.

Ranked Play returns with a new season, while the Masaki family’s ancestral castle becomes a battleground in Round-Based Zombies. Players must fight through undead hordes to reach round milestones and earn rewards, with Directed Mode for Rex Infernus offering extra guidance. Starting Room confines players to a house for close-quarters challenges, featuring three new pedestal rewards including Pack-a-Punch IV and Golden Armor.

Haunted Hollow introduces a nighttime variant of Haven’s Hollow with supernatural activity, including a Ghost Train, Trick or Treat Pumpkins, and ruins beneath a drained pond. Survivors vs. Infected mode tasks 64 players with constructing a DNA Bomb to stop an outbreak, while eight random players start as Infected. Doom’s hellish forces also arrive with themed rewards, and new weapons like the VMP SMG and TR51 Para Assault Rifle debut in the Battle Pass.
