Razer has launched the Tartarus V2 Pro, a gaming keypad designed for players seeking precision and customization. The device integrates Razer’s Analog Optical Switch Gen-2, offering a fully adjustable actuation range of 0.1–4.0mm and Rapid Trigger sensitivity down to 0.1mm, enabling ultra-fast repeated inputs. Each switch is individually lubricated and rated for a 100-million keystroke lifespan, with a clean acoustic profile to maintain player focus during extended sessions.
The keypad includes 31 programmable controls, allowing players to map complex ability bars, macros, or genre-specific setups directly onto the device. A full-sized anti-drift TMR thumbstick, borrowed from Razer’s award-winning controllers, provides smooth analog navigation for radial menus and precise in-game inputs. Three dedicated buttons further enhance versatility, catering to varied playstyles without requiring external software adjustments.
Ergonomics take center stage with a fully adjustable wrist rest that slides, rotates, and adapts to individual hand positioning. Unlike fixed designs, the wrist rest moves with the player to maintain alignment and reduce fatigue during long gaming sessions. Razer emphasizes that the wrist rest prioritizes natural hand positioning over forcing players to conform to the hardware.
The Tartarus V2 Pro supports up to 8,000 Hz HyperPolling, eight times the industry standard, and includes Razer’s Advanced Input Control suite for faster, more precise execution. Players can configure up to 24 keymaps across three onboard profiles via Razer Synapse, with on-device actuation adjustments available through an LED array. Textured doubleshot PBT keycaps ensure durability and consistent tactile feedback over time.
