The Apex Returns: Razer Unveils the Basilisk V4 Line

Razer unveiled the Basilisk V4 Pro, an ergonomic gaming mouse featuring 14 customizable controls, a new HyperScroll Tilt Wheel Gen-2, and the Focus Pro 50K Optical Sensor Gen-3. The device includes 7-zone Razer Chroma RGB with full underglow and 5-way multi-device connectivity for seamless switching between devices. The Basilisk V4 Pro retains the trusted ergonomic shape while adding a third side button and an M1 edge button, reducing weight by 12 grams compared to its predecessor.

The mouse introduces the HyperSpeed Wireless Gen-2 with 8,000Hz polling and Frame Sync for ultra-low latency, alongside the Focus Pro 50K sensor offering up to 50,000 DPI and 930 IPS tracking. Additional features include Perfect 180 for instant 180-degree turns, Dynamic Sensitivity adjustments, and Optical Mouse Switches Gen-4 rated for 100 million clicks. Razer Chroma RGB lighting projects downward for visibility in any grip, with dynamic reactions in over 300 games and syncing across compatible devices.

The Basilisk V4 Pro supports up to 200 hours of battery life on HyperSpeed Wireless Gen-2 at 1,000Hz and 275 hours on Bluetooth 6.2, with 5-way multi-device connectivity spanning HyperSpeed Wireless, Bluetooth, and wired modes. The HyperScroll Tilt Wheel Gen-2 offers tactile, precision tactile, and free-spin modes, while Virtual Acceleration in Razer Synapse adjusts scroll speed dynamically with five levels of tunability.

The Razer Mouse Dock V2 Pro wireless charging dock launches alongside the Basilisk V4 Pro, providing magnetic wireless charging and an 8,000Hz transceiver for HyperSpeed Wireless Gen-2 performance. The dock features 8-zone Chroma RGB underglow, a charge status indicator, and an anti-slip base. Razer also offers the HyperFlux V2 as an alternative charging solution, while the Basilisk V4 HyperSpeed variant provides a lighter 94g option with a Focus X 33K sensor and 140 hours of battery life.
