Salesforce has introduced Slackforce Surfaces, a feature that transforms data from Salesforce and other sources into interactive, real-time visualizations inside Slack. The tool aims to eliminate the need to switch between applications to analyze or present data, keeping teams focused on their conversations. Users can describe their needs in plain language, and Slackbot generates a live interface such as a dashboard, report, or executive deck that updates automatically as underlying data changes.

The new capability builds on prior integrations like Slack CRM and Slackbot’s ability to interact with Salesforce via MCP. Slackforce Surfaces are designed to address the gap between having information and turning it into actionable insights within the flow of work. Instead of static snapshots, these surfaces reflect the most current data, ensuring teams make decisions based on real-time information without manual refreshes.

Slackforce Surfaces are accessible to all team members with existing permissions, allowing collaborative exploration of data directly in Slack channels. The feature supports a variety of use cases, from sales pipeline tracking to marketing campaign reporting, and can be customized to fit different audiences and purposes. The surfaces are not static exports but live interfaces that evolve with the data, enabling continuous discussion and decision-making.

The tool is positioned as a way to enhance productivity by keeping work centralized in Slack. Examples include sales reps visualizing pipeline trends, marketers creating executive presentations, IT teams monitoring AI adoption costs, and service leaders tracking support queue metrics. The integration is available for free Slack workspaces connected to Salesforce instances.
