SK Telecom’s ‘Good Change’ campaign, led by its newsroom, aims to highlight two areas of transformation: workplace and cultural innovation through AI (AX) and customer experience improvement (CX). The initiative directly surveyed approximately 2,000 customers to collect their thoughts and expectations, which were then compiled into a media art piece. The project seeks to reflect the current perception of SK Telecom and the changes customers hope to see in the future.

To gather insights, SK Telecom used an AI and big data-based survey service called ‘Money-Making Survey,’ conducted from July 20 to 22. Participants were asked to describe SK Telecom in one word, identify moments in daily life when the company is most needed, and share their expectations for future changes. Responses varied widely, ranging from familiar terms like ‘top telecom provider’ to expressions of trust and personal connection.

Key findings revealed that 16.3% of respondents described SK Telecom as ‘number one’ or a ‘leading telecom company,’ while 15.4% referred to it simply as a ‘telecom provider’ or ‘brand.’ Meanwhile, 12.2% framed SK Telecom as a ‘friend or family-like presence,’ and 6.1% emphasized ‘trust’ or ‘reliability.’ The survey also showed that 40.2% of customers associate SK Telecom with ‘always’ or ‘every moment,’ underscoring its constant presence in daily life.

The resulting media art installation, showcasing customer voices and expectations, is on display at SK Telecom’s Euljiro office and will be available on the company’s official YouTube channel starting August 24. The campaign will continue to explore SK Telecom’s evolving changes and amplify the diverse perspectives of both employees and customers.
