The event emphasized cross-sector collaboration as the foundation for an AI agent capable of understanding everyday tasks and executing necessary actions. SK Telecom framed the initiative as a national opportunity to unite diverse institutions under a shared goal of delivering practical AI services.
The consortium, spanning eight sectors including public healthcare and small business support, aims to move beyond chatbots toward AI agents that listen, interpret context, and complete end-to-end tasks. SK Telecom’s AI business head outlined ambitions to deploy a domestic-scale partnership that delivers AI services integrated into citizens’ daily routines, with a focus on seamless execution and user-centric design.
Channel Corporation will automate customer service for small businesses, enabling voice and chat AI to process reservation changes from inquiry to completion.Persona AI will build public service agents that consolidate administrative steps such as moving house, linking residents with registration, housing support, and school placement while providing verified timelines and application pathways.
Care support centers will use AI to monitor vulnerable seniors nationwide, detecting early signs of illness and issuing safety alerts during extreme weather, with reports escalated to relevant agencies. Hashed Ventures will identify and validate AI startups to expand specialized services within the consortium, while Notal will optimize AI models for faster response times and operational efficiency.
