SKT, 독자 AI 모델로 스타트업 혁신 지원
SK Telecom will provide its A.X K1 AI model API to three selected startups under the Ministry of SMEs and Startups’ ‘2026 Everyone’s Challenge AX-LLM’ initiative to support AI service development and pilot commercialization by year-end.
SK Telecom announced on the 26th that it will support three domestic startups with API access to its A.X K1 AI model as part of the Ministry of SMEs and Startups’ ‘2026 Everyone’s Challenge AX-LLM’ program. The initiative aims to facilitate collaboration between startups and companies holding proprietary large language models to accelerate AI adoption. SK Telecom’s participation follows the completion of its A.X K1 model development last year, with the goal of expanding practical applications and gathering diverse use cases.
The program involves seven demand companies with their own LLMs, including SK Telecom, which received the highest number of collaboration applications from startups. After a joint review with external experts, SK Telecom selected three partners: TeamLimited, Purcelly, and DevAllCompany. TeamLimited operates a receipt-based personalized shopping curation agent, Purcelly specializes in AI-driven influencer marketing automation, and DevAllCompany provides AI solutions for delinquent debt management.
Under the collaboration, SK Telecom will provide the A.X K1 API to the selected startups through year-end, enabling them to develop and validate AI services tailored to customer touchpoints. The program is aligned with SK Telecom’s startup acceleration initiative, ‘SKTCH with AI,’ which will support service refinement and commercialization assessments during the pilot phase.
SK Telecom stated that the collaboration aims to broaden the application of its proprietary AI model while contributing to the growth of Korea’s AI ecosystem. Eom Jong-hwan, head of SK Telecom’s Sustainable Management Office, emphasized the company’s commitment to expanding cooperation with startups to enhance domestic AI innovation and commercial viability.
