SUBARU DEBUTS LIMITED-PRODUCTION 2027 SUBARU WRX GD25, 2027 SUBARU BRZ ZC15 AT BOXERFEST 2026

Subaru of America introduced anniversary editions of the 2027 WRX and BRZ at Boxerfest 2026 in York, Pennsylvania, marking 25 and 15 years since their U.S. debuts. The WRX GD25 and BRZ ZC15 feature chassis codes from their original U.S. models, the GD and ZC, respectively. Both models include performance accessories and exclusive styling cues honoring their heritage. Subaru emphasized the models' rally and sports car pedigrees in the announcement.

The 2027 WRX GD25 is painted World Rally Blue with gold-painted 19-inch alloy wheels and Brembo brakes. It includes a dry carbon fiber rear wing, uprated suspension, and a 271-horsepower turbocharged engine with Subaru Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive. Inside, it features Recaro seats with red stitching and an STI shift knob. Production is limited to 350 units with a 6-speed manual transmission and arrives in summer 2027.

The 2027 BRZ ZC15 pays tribute to the first-generation BRZ, which debuted in the U.S. in 2012. It is painted Ceramic White with matte bronze wheels, gold Brembo calipers, and bronze decals. The model includes a black decklid spoiler, flexible V-bar, and a 228-horsepower rear-wheel-drive engine paired with a 6-speed manual. Interior features include black leather with Bordeaux red inserts and a unique 'ZC15' plaque. Production is limited to 300 units, arriving in early 2027.
