Vercel has added two new CLI commands, vercel connect discover and vercel connect categories, enabling users to search and filter more than 1,000 services available in Vercel Connect without leaving their terminal environment. The discover command supports searches by name, alias, keyword, and description, while the categories command lists available category slugs for filtering results.

Users can further refine their search by connection method, such as mcp or oauth, or by the type of product a service exposes. An additional filter restricts results to services that forward webhook triggers, providing more targeted discovery options for developers.

Both commands support a --format=json flag, allowing results to be output in JSON format for scripting and agent-based workflows. This feature is designed to integrate smoothly with automated processes and tooling.

To access these new capabilities, users must update to version 64.1.0 or later of the Vercel CLI. Documentation for the Vercel Connect CLI is available for reference and further guidance on usage.
